11/3 - 11/7
11/3/14 - Today we will get back our graded Ch. 20 Tests as well as take a pre-test on CH. 21-22. After that, we will preview tomorrow's Illinois governor election by looking at the two major candidates, Pat Quinn and Bruce Rauner.
11/4/14 - NO SCHOOL!!
11/5/14 - Today we will begin to look at Ch. 21. We begin with defining the term urbanization, and describe how new technology revolutionized how people lived in cities during the late 1800s. We will especially look at the role of skyscrapers, such as the Empire State Building in NYC.
11/6/14 - Today we will look at the negative side of living in a big city during the late 1800s, and that has to do with poverty, slums, and tenements. We will look at several photos, videos, and articles to get an understanding of what life was like for the poor during this time.
11/7/14 - Today we will be back in the lab to check on how our stocks are doing!
